Ajit Jain, vice chairman of Berkshire's insurance operations, said that climate change, like inflation, can become a friend of the insurance industry.
Jain said Berkshire's reinsurance business issues reprice risk every year. He said: "blackoutbingorealmoneyI think despite climate change and despite the increased risk of fires and floods, the insurance industry is still a good place to place."
Jain added: "Climate change increases risks and ultimately makes our business bigger over time."
